Twelve qualifying futsal teams from Ha Noi, HCM City and
Da Nang will compete for the BIDV Manchester United Cup, the national
street football tournament, in Da Nang City on Sunday.
Dwight Yorke, the Trinidad&Tobago striker who
helped Manchester United win the 1999 European Champions League title,
will come to Viet Nam on November 7 to join in a national street
football tournament, the BIDV Manchester United Cup 2014.
The national women''s football team has received a
sponsor deal of VND10 billion (US$476,000) per year from the Bank of
Investment and Development of Viet Nam (BIDV).
Cong Thanh and Y Lan hotel, both from Da Nang, qualified for the
National Street football tournament – the BIDV-Manchester United Cup –
which kicks off in Ha Noi on September 22.
Manchester United legend Peter Schmeichel arrived in
Viet Nam this morning at the invitation of the Bank for Investment and
Development of Vietnam (BIDV).
